FINANCIAL SUPPORT
Thanks to the conference organizers and sponsors there are funds available for financial support of the scientists to attend the 8th International Wheat Conference. However, the funds are limited and will only be used to support participants who meet the following requirements:
- High scientific quality of the abstract submitted for conference
- Citizenship and residence in the developing country or country in transition
- The organizers will also give preference to younger scientists aged below 40 years
- Requests for partial financial support are more likely to be satisfied
Requests for financial support should be sent to the Local Secretariat by e-mail: 8iwc@vir.nw.ru
The letter must contain the following information:
- surname
- name
- age
- citizenship
- country of residence
- type of support (for registration fee, for transfer, for hotel accommodation)
- abstract in MS Word format according the conference requirements (see www.8iwc.org/presentations.asp)

The price of the post conference tour is US$375 per person including:
- All local ground transportation in Krasnodar
- All meals according to the program
- Guide and translation services
The number of places to attend the post conference tour is limited to 40 scientists and the places will be allocated to the first 40 registered participants The post-conference tour price should be paid while registering for the 8th International Wheat Conference.
The Hotel Intourist price is not included in the registration fee and can be paid upon arrival. The price for a single room is $50-70 and for double room $80-120 per night including tax and breakfast. The participants are advice to communicate to the tour organizers for hotel reservation at ukniishs@mail.ru or knish@kniish.ru.
The flight from St. Petersburg to Krasnodar and back will be executed by Kuban Airlines, Tel. 007 8612 2191777

Please, note that no hotel will be book for you in St. Petersburg for the night 08/09 June 2010. In this respect, you may wish to start your flight back home directly from Krasnodar (via Moscow or Vienna) or from Rostov-on-Don (via Frankfurt). Or you may take connection flight from St. Petersburg too.
We will need your full name details to book hotel in Krasnodar for you. The hotel can be paid by cash or cards (American Express cards are not accepted).
Details of the bank account where you can transfer registration fee will be posted on the conference web-site 25 Feb. 2010.
